Buriram United, a club in the Thai League has opened Neil Etheridge, goalkeeper Philippines national team from Birmingham City in the EFL Championship, to join the team in the 2024/25 season.
Etheridge, an English-Filipino goalkeeper, Started playing football for Chelsea and Fulham during their youth career before joining the senior team for Fulham and Oldham Athletic before emerging with Walsall FC and moving to Cardiff City, where he was involved in leading the team to promotion to the English Premier League in the 2018/19 season before moving to Birmingham City in 2020 until the present.
Etheridge is considered the first foreign goalkeeper in the history of Buriram United since 2010.
