Jordan Football Association(JFA) has announced terminated of Hussein Ammouta, head coach of Jordan national team with a mutual consent.
This was confirmed by the Jordan Football Association through a statement on their official website recently.
“The Jordanian Football Association expresses its deep pride and appreciation for the period in which Moroccan coach Hussein Amouta led the first national team and the great efforts and services he and his assistant staff provided to Jordanian football, which resulted in the national squad achieving a historic achievement by achieving second place in the AFC Asian Cup 2023, in addition to qualifying. For the decisive round of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Asian Qualifiers, it deservedly ranked first in its group.” JFA said in the official website.
“The Federation appreciates the special circumstances that prevent coach Amouta from continuing to lead Al-Nashama, and accordingly, the Federation’s Board of Directors approved the coach’s request to terminate the contract with him and his assistant staff by mutual consent.”
“The Jordanian Football Association confirms that the achievements achieved under the leadership of Amouta for the Nashama team will always remain a subject of appreciation and gratitude to the coach from the Jordanian football family and the Jordanian fans.”
