Stefan Tarkovic, head coach of Kyrgyz Republic national team, has predicted the difficult path Malaysia will face since 8 months ago.
However, Tarkovic hoping advantage of playing at home wants to be fully utilized even though there are some changes in the squad called up this time.
He had told last November that the results of the final two matches would be decisive for the team’s chances of advancing to the next round.
In the first leg, Malaysia is the side victory, scoring 4-3 at Bukit Jalil National Stadium, Kuala Lumpur, on 16 November 2023. In that match Kyrgyz Republic is the side in advantage first after leading 3-1.
“As I said last November, the quality of the teams in this group is very close. So the final two matches will determine which team will advance.” Tarkovic said.
“Beating Malaysia and Oman will open up opportunities for us to advance, but yes, the task is not easy. However, we want to show our quality and dream to advance,”
