Johor Darul Ta’Zim, a club in Liga Super Malaysia, has announced Fernando Forestieri, an Italian striker, will be back to stay with the team in the season 2024/25
Previously, Forestieri decided to leave the club after the end of season 2023, which expects a part of the reduced expenditure of 30-40% for the structure finances of the club.
“Following talks between club owner HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Crown Prince of Johor, Fernando Forestieri and myself, the forward will remain in the Johor Darul Ta’zim FC squad,” Alistair Edwards, CEO of Johor Darul Ta’zim said in an official statement.
In addition, Alistair revealed on the club’s official statement that JDT will add three new foreign players to strategically strengthen the team in certain positions for the 2024-25 season.
