Ulsan Hyundai, a club in the K-League, unveiled a new emblem and changed its name to Ulsan HD FC in season 2024 onwards to solidify its position as a prestigious Asian club beyond the K-League.
Ulsan has established itself as the best team in the K League thanks to the active support and interest of its parent company, HD Hyundai. Recently, HD Hyundai changed its CI. Accordingly, the club changed its name from Ulsan Hyundai to ‘Ulsan HD FC’ and also changed its emblem.
It is a design that embodies the concept of ‘Succeeding The Dynasty, Be The Real King of K League’, which is the club’s promise to achieve victory together with the fans.
The new emblem design adds simplicity and sharpness in line with modern trends. The identity of the club was maintained by inheriting the shield shape of the emblem that Ulsan has maintained so far. ‘HD ULSAN’, which contains the meaning of a club created together with fans and one with local residents, was simply engraved.
The tiger became strong and brave. It has been reinterpreted in a triangular and diagonal shape, giving it a more sleek and dynamic appearance. The club’s value of overpowering the opponent at once with attacking soccer using a heavy front foot and beastly instincts on a green ground in every game was reflected. Not satisfied with winning the K-League four times and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League twice, the goal is to win more trophies and solidify its position as the best team in Asia.
The new emblem will be applied from the 2024 season and will be applied to uniforms, official club-related merchandise, and various productions. In the future, Ulsan will actively utilise the new emblem to continue the club’s identity and history and strive to increase brand value.
