JDT Climbed up to FIRST of ASEAN

Johor Darul Ta’zim, a club in Liga Super Malaysia, climbed up the football rankings to the top 20 in Asia and first rank in ASEAN, according to the latest data released by Opta Analyst.

Opta Analyst released data on 9 August 2023, JDT collected 73.7 points to move up from last month’s ranking of No.447th in the world, 31st in Asia and 2nd in Southeast Asia.

The football analysis website ranks almost 13,500 football clubs. No other teams from Malaysia were in the Top 1500, with other Malaysian League teams sitting at 1,896th or lower. JDT climbed above Buriram United in Southeast Asia, ranking at 603rd with 71.9 points.
