Irfan Bakti has resigned as the head coach of Kuching City for responsible performance of the club. According to an official statement on the club official Facebook page.
However, his resignation which was made the first time was rejected by club management who wanted him to stay until the end of the Liga Super Malaysia this season. But this time, Irfan already imagined doing so after losing to Perak FC 1-2 at Stadium Negeri, Kuching last Sunday.
“Our club has already received notification of resignation from Coach Haji Irfan Bakti Abu Salim and Coach Sulaiman bin Hussin as Head Coach and Assistant Head Coach.” Kuching City said in official statement.
“We respect the decision and take this opportunity to express our appreciation to both of them for the service and success they have contributed to KCFC.”
“Their excellence since taking over at KCFC competing in the Premier League will remain etched in KCFC history.”
