Malaysian rising star Hakim Danish continued his steady climb in the Moto3 World Championship, securing another valuable points finish at the Red Bull Grand Prix of the United States 2026 at Circuit of the Americas, Austin.
Representing AEONCredit – MT Helmets – MSi, the young rider showcased resilience and racecraft to fight through adversity and claim P13 in a fiercely contested race.
It was far from an ideal start for Danish. After crashing during the Q1 session, he lined up on Grid 25 without a recorded lap time. When the lights went out, a slight delay off the line left him playing catch-up from the very back of the field.
However, the Malaysian quickly found his rhythm. Lap by lap, Danish carved his way through the pack, breaking into the Top 20 and eventually pushing toward the points-paying positions inside the Top 15.
The race saw its fair share of drama, including a mid-race collision involving Veda Pratama and Joel Esteban on Lap 7, which forced both riders out.
Danish, however, remained composed—avoiding incidents while maintaining consistent pace throughout the race. His maturity on track proved crucial as he held his ground in a tightly packed midfield battle.
Crossing the line in P13 with a time of 31:39.002, Danish finished just +18.513 seconds behind race winner Guido Pini of Leopard Racing, who delivered a clinical victory.
The result earns Danish 3 more championship points, bringing his tally to 9 points from the opening three rounds of the 2026 season—a solid return for a rider still adapting to the world stage.
