Tomislav Steinbruckner, head coach of Terengganu FC, thinks they should have been more comfortable given the number of chances they had in the match, and focus at the moment is to grab a slot in the Piala Malaysia 2023 final.
Terengganu FC won a short supply after beating Kuala Lumpur City 2-1 in the semi-final first leg at the KLFA Stadium, Cheras last night.
“After the game, I saw only one goal difference, I think we should have scored more because we had three or four very good chances,” Tomi said.
“After that there were a few mistakes that made the result 2-1 which could be said to be an open opportunity. But I have to congratulate the players for playing well.”
“We have to be ready in the second match because some KL City players, including Paulo Josue and Romel Morales, will be back. I told my friend, Nenad Bacina (Kuala Lumpur City head coach), that he should be happy the result is only 2-1.”
“During the discussion with the management a few months ago, we focused on the Piala Malaysia and then the AFC Cup. We want to focus on going to Bukit Jalil,”
