Tunku Mahkota Ismail(TMJ), the regent of Johor and owner of Johor Darul Ta’zim, has issued a message to condemn the incident and wants those responsible to be punished accordingly.
The incident of attack on Faisal, who was doused with acid in a prominent shopping mall, was the second after Akhyar was robbed and his head was hit hard with a cota in another incident in Terengganu.
Faisal or better known as Mickey suffered second degree burns on several parts of his body but was reported to be in a stable condition.
The incident of the attack on the two sensational stars of Harimau Malaya, Faisal Halim, and Akhyar Rashid, also received the attention of the Acting Sultan of Johor, Tunku Mahkota Ismail, who urged the authorities to act immediately.
“I condemn the recent incidents involving footballers, Faisal Halim and Akhyar Rashid, where their safety and well-being was harmed by irresponsible individuals.”
“I hope the Royal Malaysian Police swiftly and thoroughly investigate the cases and take appropriate action.”
