Shin Tae-Yong, head coach of the Indonesia U23 national team, cried after the match losing to the Guinea U23 national team, scoring 0-1 in the AFC-CAF Playoff match at INF Clairefontaine, Paris last night.
Guinea’s only goal was scored by Ilaix Moriba in the 29th minute via the penalty spot, and this defeat meant that Indonesia U23 National Team failed to advance to the men’s football in Olympic 2024.
In this match, Shin Tae-Yong got a red card following a protest referee after Indonesia conceded the 2nd time of penalty kick in the 74th minute, and after this match, Shin Tae-Yong was said to have cried.
However, Nova Arianto, the assistant coach, conveyed this directly.
“Don’t cry coach Shin Tae-yong. We all know what coach Shin Tae-yong has done for Indonesian football,” wrote Nova Arianto.
