Datuk Seri Shahril Mokhtar, Selangor FC Board of Directors, said as a professional club, it is their responsibility to ensure the welfare of Faisal, who was a victim of an acid spill until he can return to action.
Selangor FC has assured us that it will look after the welfare of their main pillar, Faisal Halim until his contract with the club expires in 2027.
“Faisal’s contract with the team is until 2027. As a professional club, it is our responsibility as an employer to look after the welfare of all players, including Mickey,” he said during a special press conference at the Selangor FC Training Centre here today.
“The club will continue to support Faisal mentally and physically in addition to financial aspects until he can return to action again.”
“With the spirit that Mickey can display, Insha-Allah, he will come back,”
