Sebastian Avanzini, left-back Italian moved to join Negeri Sembilan FC in the second leg of Liga Super Malaysia 2024/25 after left Kuala Lumpur City after ended season 2023.
After a solid 2023 season with Kuala Lumpur City FC, where he played 31 matches, contributing 2 goals and 4 assists, Avanzini brings not only experience but also versatility, especially in central and midfield positions.
Head Coach K. Nanthakumar expressed optimism about Avanzini’s potential impact, praising his experience and commitment in training.
He emphasized that the coaching staff will focus on helping Avanzini adapt to the team’s system as they aim to make strides in the league.
“He brings vast experience, and we are confident that his skills and abilities on the field will have a big impact on the team,” he said.
“We (the coaching staff) will help him adapt to our game system. He has started to train with the team and shows good commitment in training sessions.
“The addition of this player is part of our efforts to compete in the league, and we believe Avanzini can help us achieve that goal,” he added.
This weekend, Negeri Sembilan FC is set to face Penang FC at the City Stadium in a crucial Liga Super Malaysia 2024/25 match.
