Personnel Referring to the incident that happened at Perak Stadium, Ipoh yesterday after the match between Perak FC and JDT, the Sports Writers Association of Malaysia (SAM) would like to express its disappointment with the way Perak FC manager, Datuk Lim Teong Kim answered questions.
As a coach with extensive experience on the European stage, he seemed ‘indifferent’ in answering two simple questions from the assistant producer of the live broadcast.
Earlier, Datuk Lim Teong Kim gestured as if he didn’t hear the question three times before answering by asking the assistant producer of the live broadcast to make his own assessment from what he witnessed throughout the match.
‘Body language’ and the way he faced the media for two simple questions were very negative in SAM’s view. Media friends understand the coach’s situation and emotions after suffering a big defeat, but we are just doing our job.
Do not use the media as a place to vent your anger because we do not interfere in your team’s affairs and do not have any personal agenda. The media’s role is to convey information and should not be treated as it was yesterday.
