Kelantan Darul Naim, a club in Liga Super Malaysia has appointed Rezal Zambery Yahya to be head coach in the season 2024/25.
Rezal has been working with Kelantan FC in season 2021 as assistant head coach and as head coach in season 2022.
Rezal, who previously held the position of Director of Grassroots Development, was announced by the President, YB Rozi Muhamad, in a ceremony to sign the club’s official and coaching contracts.
“His presence is timely because we are confident that he will be able to help Kelantan Darul Naim FC develop young players to compete strongly as was done with the team before” YB Rozi said.
“With Kelantan Darul Naim FC also risking local young talent as well as experienced imports, inshaAllah the match between Rezal and the coach we have hired will allow Sang Kijang Emas to give a great challenge.”
“We also believe that the combination of the head coach brought in and Rezal will put us on the right track as well as raise the name of Kelantan Darul Naim FC in the Malaysian League season 2024/25.”
Earlier, in a contract signing ceremony, YB Rozi Muhamad also announced the appointment of Ashadi Mohamad Yusoff as assistant coach, Abdul Rahman Baba in the position of goalkeeper coach, Mohammad Fazrul Jafar Abd. Rahman as a fitness trainer and kitman, Muhammad Shahrul Ridzuan and Wan Mohd Najib.
