Port FC has officially confirmed that they will be using BG Stadium, also known as Pathum Thani Stadium, as their home ground for the upcoming AFC Champions League 2 (ACL2) season 2024/25.
The decision was made with a focus on the convenience and ease of travel for their fans, ensuring better accessibility for supporters attending the matches. Port FC has already informed the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) about this choice, making it their designated venue for the official Asian Club competition matches.
Port FC earned their spot in the ACL2 by finishing third in the 2023/24 Thai League. Their qualification was further secured when True Bangkok United won the Chang FA Cup and qualified for the play-offs in the AFC Champions League Elite.
Port FC will remain in Pot 2 for the AFC Champions League 2 (ACL2) draw, placing them in the same pot as Selangor FC, a prominent club from Malaysia.
