Negeri Sembilan FC have officially confirmed their full cooperation with Selangor FC following a formal request to suspend the presence of visiting supporters group UltraSel for the upcoming Piala Malaysia 2025/26 Quarter-Final clash.
In an official club statement dated 8 February 2026, NSFC revealed that they received a letter from Selangor FC on 7 February 2026, requesting cooperation to temporarily suspend the attendance of UltraSel supporters at the Malaysia Cup Final scheduled to be held at Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium, Paroi.
NSFC stressed that the decision was made in line with the club’s core values, which prioritise public safety, harmony and overall matchday well-being.
“As a club that places strong emphasis on harmony, peace and public safety, NSFC respects the decision taken by Selangor FC and is fully prepared to cooperate to ensure the match is conducted in a safe, controlled and positive environment for all parties involved,” the statement read.
The club also highlighted that the move was not merely about fulfilling the visiting team’s request, but a reflection of NSFC’s commitment to preserving the integrity and values of Malaysian football.
NSFC believe that cooperation between both clubs is crucial in shaping a more disciplined, respectful and mature football culture in the local scene.
The club underlined that collective responsibility among clubs, supporters, players and match officials is essential to ensure football remains a unifying platform rather than a source of conflict.
In the same statement, NSFC called upon their loyal supporters, #SekalianYangSetia, to rise as role models during the final.
“Let us show the best example. Prove that Paroi is a fortress not because of hostility, but because of passionate support that is guided by respect and good manners.”
NSFC encouraged fans to pack the stadium with pure sporting spirit, ensuring the Malaysia Cup Final is remembered for footballing excellence rather than off-field issues.
