Malaysia Women’s National Team wrapped up their centralised training camp in Dubai on a high note, clinching a second successive victory over the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in a closed-door international friendly on Sunday.
The latest win further underlines the strong form of Joel Cornelli’s squad, who had already impressed in the first match on Thursday, securing a confident 3-1 victory over the hosts.
In this second encounter, Malaysia dominated early proceedings, netting two first-half goals to go into the break with a commanding 2-0 lead. Despite the UAE’s efforts to close the gap in the second half, the Malaysian defence held firm with a clean sheet, capping off a clinical and composed performance.
