Selangor FC continued their strong run in the Liga Super Malaysia 2025/26 after securing a convincing 3-1 away victory over PDRM FC in the Week 13 clash at Stadium MPS, Selayang.
Head coach Katsuhito Kinoshi named Kalamullah Al-Hafiz between the posts, with Faisal Halim wearing the captain’s armband and Brazilian hitman Chrigor Moraes spearheading the Red Giants’ attack. PDRM, meanwhile, relied on Ifwat Akmal in goal as Park Tae-su marshalled the Cops’ backline.
Despite playing on hostile turf, Selangor asserted dominance from the opening exchanges, controlling possession and creating early chances through Chrigor and Faisal.
The breakthrough arrived in the 20th minute when Chrigor Moraes rose highest to power home a header from a pinpoint Faisal Halim delivery, giving Selangor a deserved lead.
Selangor continued to threaten, with Alvin Fortes firing just wide in the 27th minute, before Faisal squandered a golden chance to double the advantage shortly before the break. PDRM had a late first-half scare, but Kalamullah stood firm to preserve Selangor’s 1-0 halftime lead.
The Red Giants resumed with the same intensity and were rewarded early in the second half when Chrigor struck again in the 49th minute, clinically finishing to make it 2-0 and underline his status as Selangor’s main attacking weapon.
PDRM responded swiftly, pulling one back through Fakhrul Azim in the 53rd minute to briefly revive the contest. However, Selangor kept their composure and restored their two-goal cushion in the 67th minute, as Noor Al-Rawabdeh calmly finished after being teed up by substitute Zikri Khalili.
From there, Selangor dictated proceedings, creating a flurry of chances and seeing out the game comfortably to claim all three points.
The 3-1 win underlined Selangor’s growing consistency and attacking depth, with Chrigor once again leading the charge, while Faisal’s influence and Kalamullah’s assurance at the back proved equally vital.
