The wait for a first victory continues for both PDRM FC and Melaka FC after the two sides battled to a goalless draw in the Liga Super Malaysia 2025/26 at Stadium MPS, Selayang.
For PDRM, the result marked a third consecutive draw, while Melaka remain winless in their opening two fixtures.
The match started cautiously as both teams looked to settle into rhythm, but the first chance came in the 13th minute when PDRM striker Dumbia Bernard Henri saw his effort denied by Melaka goalkeeper Florencio Badelic Moments later, Badelic was called into action again, diving low to stop Park Tae Su’s free-kick in the 17th minute.
Melaka responded with their first real opportunity in the 34th minute through Patrick Gama, but his shot was comfortably collected by PDRM custodian Ifwat Akmal. PDRM nearly broke the deadlock just before halftime, but Safiee Ahmad blazed his shot over the bar, keeping the score 0-0 at the interval.
The second half saw both teams pushing forward but struggling to find composure in the final third. Melaka wasted a golden chance in the 59th minute when Anderson Brito de Arruda lifted his attempt high over the bar despite being one-on-one with Ifwat.
Ultimately, neither side could break through, and the 0-0 scoreline at the final whistle left both camps frustrated yet resigned to sharing the points.
Looking ahead, PDRM will face KL City FC away in their next Super League outing, while Melaka travel to take on Sabah FC, still in search of their first three points of the season.
