Kuala Lumpur City collect 1 point after back from Asian stage after tied with PJ City with a score of 0-0 in the Liga Super Malaysia 2022 at KLFA Stadium, Cheras.
PJ City had the first opportunity in the third minute, following the actions of a KL City player who sent the ball back and tried to take advantage of Darren Lok but his barrier was denied by Kevin Mendoza.
Movement from the left wing through Hadin Azman in the 12th minute seemed almost to fruition but was let down by the late Fakrul Aiman Sidid who soared high.
KL City defender Giancarlo Gallfuoco saved the home goal from being conceded by his own goal due to a misunderstanding between Irfan Zakaria and Mendoza in the 31st minute.
Continuing the second half, Hadin’s free kick in the 46th minute was saved by Kalamullah Al Hafiz before it was Mendoza’s turn to also deny PJ City FC striker S Kumaahran’s long-range attempt three minutes later.
After this, KL City will go down for the ‘neighbors of Klang Valley’ action once again against Selangor while PJ City will take on Melaka United FC.
