Johor Darul Ta’Zim still secure top-flight position after beating Kuala Lumpur City scoring 5-1 in the Liga Super Malaysia 2024/25 at KLFA Stadium, Cheras.

In the injury time, in the 45+6th minute, Juan Muniz shot a free-kick to the corner of the second post, and JDT led 2-0.
But in the 45+11th minute, KL City awarded a penalty after Oscar Arribas conceded a foul to Haqimi Azim, and the referee decided to penalty after checking with VAR, and Paulo Josue converted the goal, KL City followed 1-2.
In the remaining time of the first half, there was no additional score, ending the first half with JDT leading 2-1.
In the second half, in the 61st minute, after a few times to try and following a fast-break of JDT and Matthew Davies crossing to Fernando Forestieri to charge it, JDT led 3-1.
In the 71st minute, following Giancarlo Gallifuoco, a KL City player blocked missed way to Juan Muniz’s shot into the goal, and JDT led 4-1.

And in the late game, in the 88th minute, following long passing from Jordi Amat and Oscar Arribas passing to Syahmi Safari charge it at far post, JDT led 5-1.
However, The remaining time had no additional score, ending Johor Darul Ta’Zim win 5-1.
