Johor Darul Ta’Zim win 7 matches consecutive after invading and beat Perak FC with a score of 5-0 in the Liga Super Malaysia 2023 at Perak Stadium, Ipoh.
Esteban Solari’s squad did not wait long to take the lead after Perak’s defensive pillar, Hasnul Zaim Zafri scored an own goal in the fifth minute.
JDT continued to dominate the game when they added two more goals before the break each through Leandro Valzquez who completed the penalty kick in the 25th minute and Diogo Luis Santos in the 45th minute.
Continuing in the second half, JDT became more fierce when Brazilian striker Bergson da Silva scored the team’s fourth goal in the 66th minute before Velazquez scored his second personal goal in the match with a goal late in the game.
The victory saw JDT strengthen their position at the top of the league when they collected 21 points after playing seven games.
