Johor Darul Ta’Zim comeback to emerged 3 points again after beating Kedah Darul Aman scoring 6-0 in the Liga Super Malaysia 2024/25 at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, Iskandar Puteri.
The match began with JDT taking an early lead in the eighth minute. Heberty Fernandes’ play set up Bergson da Silva, who made no mistake in putting the ball past goalkeeper Kalamullah A-Hafiz Mat Rowi. JDT continued to press, and in the 38th minute, Bergson struck again, capitalizing on a defensive error by KDA to score his second goal.
The second half saw JDT continue their onslaught, with Bergson completing his hat-trick in the 64th minute. Feroz Baharudin added to KDA’s woes in the 73rd minute, followed by Murilo Henrique, who scored just two minutes later to make it 5-0. Afiq Fazail capped off the win in the 79th minute after a shot from Arif Aiman Hanapi rebounded off the post, allowing Afiq to score the final goal.
This victory marks JDT’s third win against KDA this season and reinforces their position as the team to beat in the Liga Super Malaysia.
