Kuala Lumpur City wins Negeri Sembilan FC, scoring 2-1 in the Piala Menteri Wilayah Persekutuan 2024 at KLFA Stadium, Cheras.
This match is a part of the Liga M Pre-Season 2024/25 tournament for testing of the Video Assistant Referee(VAR) technology system and was controlled by Tuan Mohd Yaasin Tuan Mohd Hanafiah while the original operator Mohd Shahrizan Mohamad Solihim.
In this match, KL City got two scores from Zhafri Yahya in the 22th minute, and Paulo Josue (penalty) in the 36th minute.
Negeri Sembilan FC’s goal was contributed by Javabilaarivin Nyanasegar in the 41st minute.
However, the use of VAR throughout the match saw the match last longer with 13 minutes of extra time for the first half and 10 minutes for the second half.
