Pearly Tan-Thinaah Muralitharan, a Malaysian Women’s pair has reached to final Women’s Doubles of the BWF Korea Open 2024 at Mokpo Indoor Stadium, Mokpo.
Their victory over the world’s second-ranked pair, Baek Ha Na and Lee So Hee of Korea, in straight sets (21-18, 21-13) highlights their exceptional form and determination. The win also equalized their head-to-head record against the Korean duo to 2-2.
Ranked ninth in the world, Pearly and Thinaah are now set to face another tough challenge in the final against the home favorites, Jeong Na Eun and Kim Hye Jeong. The upcoming match will be their fourth meeting, with the Korean pair currently leading the head-to-head 2-1.
Their last encounter at the China Masters saw the Korean duo narrowly edge out Pearly-Thinaah in a thrilling three-set match.
