Kim Pan-Gon, head coach of Malaysia national team demanded that his men work harder as well as wisely take advantage against Solomon Islands national team in the International Friendly ‘A’ Match tomorrow night.
However, Pan-gon is optimistic that the players who will be sent down will be able to show their best performance and be energetic to continue the winning momentum after facing Turkmenistan and Hong Kong in March.
“The first friendly match this time is against the Solomon Islands, the training time is quite limited which is only three days, whatever the training goes smoothly and I hope we can give our best.” Pan-Gon said in pre-match press conference
“All our players are fit and well, but there are two players who have injuries and we need to keep an eye on them.”
“At the same time, we are also still looking to fill the striker position due to the injury problem suffered by the player (Shahrel Fikri), but it is also good because we can try some new faces. Maybe we will try new weapons. Anyway, wait for tomorrow night,”
“Regarding the players, I have no comment because they always give their all for the country, after this we face the Asian Cup round in Qatar and all our opponents are strong teams.”
International Friendly ‘A’ Match between Malaysia vs Solomon Islands will kick-off on 15 June 2023 at 9.00 pm. at Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium, Gong Badak. Live on Astro Arena, and TV9
