Kelantan FC has appointed Frank Bernhardt, German coach age,53 to be a new Technical Director of the club replacing Nasir Yusuf.
Bernhardt has been experienced in Malaysia as the former head coach of Malaysia U23 national team, and UiTM FC in Liga Super Malaysia 2021. In addition he is also a former Werder Bremen player who was the Technical Director of Estonia FA (2007-2012) and Azerbaijan FA (2014-2017).
“For information, the appointment of a Technical Director is one of the mandatory conditions in club licensing under the MFL. He will be fully responsible for monitoring and evaluating the coaching unit as well as the team’s technical matters.” Kelantan FC said in an official statement.
