Kedah Darul Aman FC has officially announced the resignation of Head Coach Nafuzi Zain, effective today. The decision was confirmed following a thorough review by the club’s owner, Board of Directors, and management, who accepted his resignation with respect and appreciation for his contributions.
Appointed in December 2022, Nafuzi brought precision, commitment, and high-quality leadership to Kedah. Under his guidance, the team achieved a commendable 4th place finish in the 2023 Super League and reached the semi-finals of the 2024 FA Cup, marking significant milestones in his tenure.
In an official statement, Kedah Darul Aman FC expressed gratitude for Nafuzi’s dedication and wished him success in his future endeavors:
“We sincerely thank Coach Nafuzi for his hard work and commitment during his time with us. His achievements have left a lasting mark on the team, and we wish him all the best in his career.”
The club also announced the appointment of Victor Andrag as Interim Head Coach, effective 25 November 2024. A familiar figure within the Kedah setup, Andrag will lead the team through the remaining stages of the 2024/2025 Malaysia League season.
