National women’s singles shuttler Letshanaa Karupathevan is carrying renewed confidence into the PRINCESS SIRIVANNAVARI Thailand Masters 2026, following a career-defining run at the DAIHATSU Indonesia Masters 2026, where she finished joint third.
The Malaysian youngster described her semi-final appearance in Jakarta as a major milestone, marking her first-ever semi-final outing at Super 500 level—a breakthrough that has strengthened both belief and maturity in her game.
“I feel good because it’s my first semi-final in Super 500. It’s a very good experience for me and a big learning process,” said Letshanaa.
She added that the Indonesia Masters campaign has given her valuable lessons to carry forward as she continues her upward trajectory on the BWF World Tour.
“I’m just going to take that experience, look forward and keep moving on for the next tournaments,” she said.
Turning her attention to the Thailand Masters, a Super 300 event, Letshanaa remained grounded and composed when asked about her expectations and targets.
Rather than setting rigid goals, the 20-year-old emphasised her process-driven approach—focusing on consistency and execution one match at a time.
“My target is always to go one by one, one match at a time. I don’t really have a specific target. I just focus on each match and stay concentrated,” she explained.
With momentum on her side and confidence steadily building, Letshanaa heads into Bangkok as one of Malaysia’s most exciting prospects, eager to translate experience into consistency as she continues her rise on the international stage.
