Jørn Andersen, head coach of Hong Kong national team thinks his team has done their best and is happy with the performance shown by the players despite losing to Malaysia in an international friendly match, and admitted it’s ‘not easy’ for the away team to play in Malaysia.
“I am satisfied with the players today because they fought hard and we also created some chances but we were not lucky.” Andersen said in a post-match press conference.
“But anyway this is a good experience for the team, it’s not easy to play away in Malaysia, not many teams win here,”
“I think we had seven to nine chances tonight, but our offensive line kind of struggled to finish the chances.”
“We need to improve on that, I think if we managed to take the lead today the final result could have been different.”
