Johor Darul Ta’zim, a club in Liga Super Malaysia climbed up the football rankings to 447th in the world, 31st in Asia, and second in Southeast Asia based on the latest data released by Opta Analyst.
The football analysis website with almost 13,500 football clubs included indicated the Southern Tigers collecting 72.7 points — rising 126 spots from 573rd in February 2023.
No other teams from Malaysia were in the Top 500, with other Malaysian League teams sitting at 2,148th or lower.
In Southeast Asia, JDT was second behind Buriram United, a club from the Thai League ranking at 418th with 73.1 points, while the Johor Darul Ta’Zim were 31st in Asia with Al-Ittihad sitting at the top with 83.1 points.
