Hairuddin Omar, Terengganu FC II coach, described the final action of Piala MFL 2023 as going to be a very different match for his men.
This season, Terengganu FC II can beat JDT II all 3 times in action (2 matches in Group Stage, and 1 match in the Champions League round)
“Previous records are just a guide but tomorrow night’s action is a different game. The team that makes less mistakes and takes chances will be the winner.
“I informed the players that this is the last game of the season, and we have to give everything to become the first Piala MFL champions. We are focused on preparation and ready to face anything.” Hairuddin said.
“It is understood that JDTII will field players from the Liga Super, so I see this as an interesting challenge for the players so that we are not afraid to face them,”
In addition, Aqil Irfanuddin, Terengganu FC II captain, is optimistic that the Piala MFL 2023 can be theirs if they manage to translate the plan well on the field in the final.
“Even during training, we train hard and if we follow the instructions and plans given, God willing this trophy will belong to TFCII.” Aqil said.
“Even though JDT dropped players from the main squad, we don’t need to be afraid and just have to focus until the end of the match,”
Piala MFL 2023 Final, between Terengganu FC II vs Johor Darul Ta’Zim II, will played on 11 November 2023, 8.15 pm. at KLFA Stadium, Cheras.
