Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has increased the quota for Asia in the FIFA U17 World Cup and FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup after increasing teams from 24 teams to 48 teams in 2026.

- FIFA Deputy General Secretary Mattias Grafström has been officially appointed FIFA General Secretary.
- Philippines will host the first FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup in 2025.
- Morocco will host the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in 5-years period from 2025-2029, AFC has a quota of 4 teams.
- Qatar will host the FIFA U17 World Cup in 5-years period from 2025-2029, AFC has a quota of 9 teams.
- FIFA Arab Cup, Qatar will host the next three times in 2025, 2029, 2033.
