Farizal Marilas, Johor Darul Ta’zim’s captain is eager to repay the supporters after seeking to put their disappointing defeat to Kawasaki Frontale. When they face Guangzhou FC in Group I of the AFC Champions League 2022 at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium on Wednesday.
“It was a really bad result; I think there can be no denying that. It is not easy because we are still suffering from a painful defeat,” Farizal said.
“But personally, throughout my time here, even at my lowest moments with injuries, the club, my teammates, and especially the fans, they have always had my back.”
“Our fans have been behind us from the very beginning so we must go out there tomorrow with confidence to dedicate a strong victory to them.”
AFC Champions League 2022, group stage, Group I, matchday 1 between Guangzhou FC vs Johor Darul Ta’zim will be played on 27 April at 10.00 pm. at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, Iskandar Puteri.
