Faisal Halim, midfielder Malaysia national team from Selangor FC is confident that the future of the Malaysia national team is in safe hands.
This development attracted the interest of the lively Selangor FC player, who saw that there were new faces undergoing training with the Malaysia national team.
This follows no competitive action experienced by the players in a period of almost a month following the suspension of league competition.
He said, the junior players began to feel difficulty performing in the high intensity training applied by Pan-gon.
In the squad for the FIFA World Cup 2026 Asian Qualifier Round 2 in a match against Oman last March, Kim Pan-Gon has named 11 players from the U23 squad in the main squad.
“A lot of players who are younger than me ask how we can play with such high intensity,” Faisal said.
“This is an opportunity for all of them (junior players). If you can follow, then your sustenance is here. This is your time to shine,”
