Brazil’s U23 national team defending the goal medal last 2 times in the Men’s Football Olympics, will be absent from the Men’s Football Olympic 2024 in Paris, France, after not qualifying for CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic 2024.
Brazil attend the CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament 2024 Final Stage in Venezuela along with Paraguay, Argentina, and Venezuela and played a round-robin format for 2 teams that qualified for the Olympics 2024.
However, the last 2 times, the champion team had poor performance after losing to Paraguay 0-1 in the first match but winning to Venezuela 2-1 in the second match.
In the last match of the final stage, Brazil needed to win Argentina to take 2nd place to qualify for the Olympics. But couldn’t succeed and lost 0-1. which Argentina got the goal from Luciano Gondou in the 78th minute.
After the tournament, Brazil ended in 3rd place in the final stage and did not qualify for Men’s Football Olympic 2024, Which Paraguay, and Argentina is a team qualified as Champions and runner-up.
