Bojan Hodak, head coach of Kuala Lumpur City still considers “City boys” is the underdog team but hopes to finish a happy ending in AFC Cup 2022 Final tomorrow.
Kuala Lumpur City participates in AFC Cup 2022 by the Champions of TM Piala Malaysia 2021. Before making a history pass to finalist first time in this season.
“We didn’t expect to get to the final because at first, we were only aiming to break the group rankings,” Bojan said in a Press conference today.
“Winning against Vietnamese club Viettel opened up opportunities for us and I hope we can sign a happy ending.”
“Oman have good football, their ranking is better than Malaysia. Maybe there is an advantage for us playing at home, but I still think we are underdogs and this is football, the 90 minutes of action will be decisive,”
“Al Seeb are a good team, I believe they also have experience playing at a full stadium. What is important is that we will try to reduce mistakes in that match,”
AFC Cup 2022 Final between Kuala Lumpur City (MAS) VS Al-Seeb(OMA) will kick-off in 22 October 2022 on 7.00 pm. at Bukit Jalil National Stadium, Kuala Lumpur.
