“I know about the existence of the Selangor FC club and always follow their progress. For me, this is a big club with quality training facilities and they also played well in the league last season. So, I think this is the best club for me to continue. football career,” said Fortes happily.
“I can’t wait to play with Selangor FC and meet the Red Giants supporters. See you soon.”
According to Selangor FC Head Coach, Tan Cheng Hoe, Fortes will help on the left and right wing of the team.
“Last season, I saw that one of the weaknesses we faced was the absence of a genuine winger who could add to the team’s strength in attack. With the presence of Fortes, I see that we are able to solve problems on the left or right side of the attack, especially when competing on the Asian stage later. He has also played in the Thai league, so I hope Fortes won’t take long to adjust to playing here,” hopes Tan Cheng Hoe.
