Akram Mahinan, a Malaysian defensive midfielder, age 30, posted on Instagram to bid farewell and left Kuala Lumpur City after ending the season of 2023.
“Alhamdulillah, the most beautiful 4 years with the KLFC team. 2023 has been quite a challenge year for me & might be others as well. Went through ups and downs, thick & thin as a team member. But even a little bit does not break our spirit as a team to continue to give the best. We have been created so many beautiful memories together that I would definitely keep in my heart.” Akram said in IG.
“But unfortunately, I guess it’s a time to say goodbye to the team & KLFC fans. Thank you to all coaches and KLFC staff. Not to forget the president of the club. All KLFC fans who are always behind us. To some extent, you are also a contributor to this success. Thank you Warga Kota, insha Allah see you again”
Akram, moved to join Kuala Lumpur City in 2020 after left from PKNS FC and made big history for the club as runner-up of Liga Premier Malaysia 2020, Champions Piala Malaysia 2021, runner-up of AFC Cup 2022, and runner-up Piala FA Malaysia 2023.
