ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) prepares to choose between Thailand and Vietnam. to be a host of the AFF U23 Championship 2023
In this program, the AFF side wants to organize a competition in November due to problems with the rights holder’s live broadcast. however, The Football Association of Thailand has proposed to the AFF to organize the competition in August so as not to overlap with the schedule of the Thai League 1 season 2023/24, which is expected to open the season in the August-September 2023
However, this week, the AFF will send officials to inspect the field. to assess readiness before a final decision.
AFF U23 Championship 2023, has been held 3 times, with Thailand hosting for the first time in 2005. Before disappearing for more than 14 years and returning to held the competition again in 2019 and 2022 which Cambodia Hosted the last 2 times.
