Vietnam’s national team Successfully qualified for the finals. After winning Indonesia national team with a score of 2-0 in the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022 semi-final second leg at the My Dinh Stadium, Hanoi.

The first half had only been running for three minutes, the Indonesian national team had to concede a goal. The Vietnam National Team’s counterattack was successfully completed by Nguyen Tien Linh.

Indonesia’s national team is slowly trying to retaliate. In the 20th minute, a throw-in for Pratama Arhan caused a stir at the back line of the Vietnam national team. However, Jordi Amat was charged with a handball in that situation.

There was a bit of commotion in the Vietnam national team’s penalty box in the 24th minute. There was an elbow from a Vietnamese player, Que Ngoc Hai, to Dendy Sulistyawan. However, the referee did not consider it a violation.

Vietnam national team left-back, Doan Van Hau, fired a free shot from 30 meters in the 29th minute. Luckily for the Indonesian national team, the Hanoi FC player’s shot was narrow on the left side of Nadeo Arga Winata’s goal.

One minute later, Pham Tuan Hai also had a chance to score. The Vietnam national team striker’s shot went straight to Nadeo’s catch.

The commotion returned in the 34th minute. This time the cause was a hard clash between Asnawi Mangkualam and Doan Van Hau.

Three minutes later, the commotion broke out again. Doan Van Hau’s elbow produced a yellow card for him. This is the number five player’s first yellow card in the 2022 AFF Cup.

Until the first half ended, no more goals were created. The Indonesian national team had a tough task to equalize in the second half.

The mistakes made at the start of the first half were repeated at the start of the second half. Entering the 48th minute, the Vietnam national team scored its second goal.

Again through Nguyen Tien Linh. The player numbered back 22 fired a sharp header after taking advantage of a corner kick situation.

Dendy Sulistyawan fired hard from inside the penalty box in the 55th minute. However, Dendy’s shot was blocked by the Vietnam defender and only resulted in a corner kick.

Shin Tae-yong wants a change from the game of the Indonesia. In the 56th minute he made two substitutions.

Ricky Kambuaya and Witan Sulaeman entered. Saddil Ramdani and Asnawi Mangkualam were pulled out. The entry of the two players is expected to increase creativity in the midfield of the Indonesian national team.

Nguyen Quang Hai almost added a goal for the Vietnam national team in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, the Pau FC player’s volley was narrowly missed by Nadeo Arga Winata.

Indonesia national team continues to suppress the defense of the Vietnam national team. However, the variation of the attacks carried out by Marc Klok et al is very small.

In the 78th minute, Team Garuda implemented a total attack scheme. This was marked by the inclusion of Ilija Spasojevic and Muhammad Rafli.

Muhammad Rafli got a sweet pass from Pratama Arhan in the 83rd minute. Sadly. The Arema player’s header was very slow and wide of Dang Van Lam’s goal.

Nadeo Arga Winata made a heroic save in the 89th minute. The strength of his finger prevented Nguyen Quang Hai from scoring.

The 2-0 score for the Vietnam national team remained until the game was over. The Golden Stars advanced to the finals after winning 2-0 in terms of aggregate over the Indonesian National Team.
