Iran Futsal National Team clinched 13th-time champions after beating Thailand Futsal National Team, scoring 4-1 in the AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2024 Final at Bangkok Arena.
In this match, just 54 seconds, following the kick-in of Iran and Mahdi Karimi’s shot from outside the box to the right corner, Iran led 1-0.
Even Thailand will open to attack to find an equalizer goal. In the 6th minute, following Iran’s attack and Moslem Olaghobad’s passing to Saeid Abbasi’s shot to the middle goal, Iran led 2-0.
In the remaining time of the first half, there was no additional score, and by the end of the first half, Iran led 2-0.
In the second half, not long time, in the 26th minute, following Thailand’s fast break and Muhammad Osamanmusa’s passing to Jirawat Sornvichian’s shot into the goal, Thailand followed 1-2.
But not long time, in the 27th minute, following Iran’s corner kick and Mohammadreza Sangsefidi’s opening to Ali Asghar Hassanzadeh’s shot into the right corner, Iran led 3-1.
After Thailand conceded the third goal, Thailand tried to use powerplay to revenge the goal, but in the 35th minute, Bagher Mohamadi threw the ball to the goal, and Iran led 4-1.
The remaining time of the second half had no additional score, ending iran’s win 4-1 and clinching champions.
