Sultan Ibrahim Stadium in Iskandar Puteri, Johor is centralised venue of AFC Champions League 2022 Group stage, Group I between 15-30 April 2022.
In last morning, The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has today confirmed the host nations for the AFC Champions League 2022™ (East) Group Stage matches, which will be held from 15 April to 1 May.
The centralised matches of three groups – F, G and J – will be played in Thailand, with Group H scheduled to take place in Vietnam while Group I will be staged in Malaysia.
In Group I, staged in Malaysia will play in Johor state and use Sultan Ibrahim Stadium at Iskandar Puteri for host stadium all 12 matches in the group
Sultan Ibrahim Stadium, is new stadium of Johor Darul Ta’zim and open since February 2020 for replace Tan sri Dato Haji Hussan Yunos (Larkin) Stadium in Johor Bahru. Has a capacity for 40,000 spectators.
