Safawi Rasid, midfielder of Terengganu FC admitted that he was very excited to return to study with his former head coach, Tomislav Steinbruckner at Terengganu FC.
Safawi and ‘Tommy’ have been working together at T-Team in the season 2015 in Liga Premier Malaysia.
“His order, ‘dont loose the ball, keep position, keep hard’ is still remembered until now.” Safawi mentioned to Tommy.
“At that time, I was still young and lacked experience. In addition to continuous and hard training, Tommy’s words became a hold in me as a soccer player until now.”
“Now I’m back to receive guidance from him, I’m so excited and happy. I hope to improve my performance, especially after receiving guidance from the previous JDT coaching line,”
Earlier, Safawi along with his teammate in the JDT squad, Akhyar Rashid, answered many people’s riddles after being confirmed to move on loan with the Turtles squad for the 2024/2025 season.
