2,228 Police officers from Kuala Lumpur Police(Polis KL) will be deployed to maintain order and security during the Piala FA Malaysia 2024/25 Final at Bukit Jalil National Stadium, Kuala Lumpur.
Dato’ Ab Ghani Hassan, President of the Malaysian Football League (MFL), recently paid a courtesy visit to Kuala Lumpur Police Chief, Dato’ Rusdi Mohd Isa, at the Kuala Lumpur Police Contingent Headquarters. This visit was an expression of gratitude from the MFL to the Kuala Lumpur Police for their crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of Malaysia League matches, including the successful management of previous Malaysia Cup and FA Cup finals at the same venue.
The meeting, which was attended by senior officials from both the MFL and the Kuala Lumpur Police, also included a briefing by Dato’ Ab Ghani on the upcoming FA Cup final, set for 24 August 2024. This highly anticipated match will see defending champions Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) face off against Selangor FC.
Dato’ Rusdi reassured that the police force is thoroughly prepared for the event, with a strong contingent of officers focused on maintaining security, public order, and managing traffic flow around the stadium. Dato’ Ab Ghani expressed his deep appreciation for the police’s extensive preparations, highlighting their efforts to ensure the safety and comfort of all fans attending the final.
